"King" is gentle enough, but his mere presence can be intimidating and he sure knows it. While he wouldn't hurt a fly, this huge boy will sure try to scare you, and will definitly startle you if you don't watch your back. He'll nose your back from behind, snort behind you, and walk up to you and bloack your way. His goofy nature is quickly reversed when you put the saddle on his back, however. He gets right down to business and is an angel when ridden; this and his gorgeous movement make him an ideal dressage draft. He is also broke to drive and does combined driving, dressage driving, and carriage driving all very well.
